GUT ANXIETY In this cause-and-effect reality, we can be autonomously governed by our mood and not even realise why. Our decisions are influenced in many different ways. Some we believe are conscious decisions. However, our motivations stem from subconscious appetites and desires and actions will be unconsciously driven by our gut. Without realising how blood sugars affect the mind, our food choices can be both positively and negatively affecting mood, energy and anxiety levels as our decisions are a mostly reflection of what's going on inside our gut.
